Consultant in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology
We have over 30 years of experience in physical chemistry, spectroscopy, computational chemistry and nanotechnology. I have authored more than 120 refereed journal articles, two patents (eight additional patent applications are pending) and a textbook.
In our laboratory, we have produced: imprinted polymer based sensors; RFID-based sensors; novel nanoparticles such as semiconductor nanotubes and cumulenic-heteroatom terminated carbon rods; and structured nanoparticle coatings. We have years of experience using computational chemistry software packages to explore novel cluster-based materials and have created some of those materials in laser vaporization-mass spectrometric systems.
Our laboratory experience provides an excellent background for the review of research plans, patent documents or technical specifications. That same experience provides the expertise to serve as an expert witness in circumstances involving nanomaterials, nanotechnology, polymer systems, targeted sensors and education. We are also available for lectures on nanotechnology (and its potential societal effects) for general audiences.
